This pretty and powerful young stallion is
linebred for the blood of our Foundation
Mare, Shadygrove Serenade. She and our
stallion Lyonhil Quasar were the catalyst
that put our farm on the map, so to speak.
We bred her only living daughter, "Capri"
to her future WC son, "Luke" and were so
pleased when this cross produced a
handsome and talented colt.
Obviously, we believe in this young
stallion's genetics ~ he at least deserves
a chance in the breeding shed,
and we hope to find him a
Sport Morgan breeding program that
will be enhanced by his blood.
He has many crosses to the famous
show mare Jubilee DeJarnette who was
not only undefeated in harness, but
eventually barred from the show ring
so others could have a chance.
"Rio" is a testament to his ancestors'
quality. His lovely color came from
his Mother and Grandmother.
He is one of the best we've bred.
